Japanese Card Guide was created from a simple idea: finding good information about Japanese Pokemon cards shouldn’t be so difficult.

Japanese Pokemon cards can be surprisingly difficult to navigate. There are sets that never made it to the UK, cards with different artwork and numbering, Japanese-exclusive promos, and plenty of older cards that are easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Even something as simple as finding every Japanese card featuring a favourite Pokemon can turn into a rabbit hole.

That’s where Japanese Card Guide comes in.

The aim is to make Japanese Pokemon cards easier to understand and more enjoyable to collect. Whether you’re completely new to Japanese cards or have been collecting them for years, Japanese Card Guide covers Japanese card sets, vintage cards, rarities, collecting tips, prices, interesting cards and plenty more.

There is no right or wrong way to build a Pokemon collection. Everyone has their favourite Pokemon, sets and cards, and that’s part of what makes collecting so enjoyable.

Japanese Card Guide is here to help collectors discover cards they might never have come across, learn more about the Japanese Pokemon TCG and make better-informed decisions about their collections.

From vintage classics to modern releases and everything in between, Japanese Card Guide is a place for anyone fascinated by Japanese Pokemon cards.
